The Common Garden Skink is a small-sized skink that is native and endemic to Australia. They prefer warm, hot and humid locations all across Australia; mainly found in southeastern Australian gardens. Sadly, Common Garden Skinks end up in people's balconies and gardens and get squashed; particularly by people squashing them on purpose, they themselves accidentally ramming smoothly under washing tubs or buckets, or simply getting gobbled, gnashed and gnawed by the invasive Fire ants, Odorous house ants and Black garden ants, nicknamed black gardeners by me.
